That example won't work as a wordpress page as WP will strip out php calls when you publish.

You need to upload the text file direct to your server via ftp, then you can make a link to it from anywhere, as:

<a href="http://***.com/a1/">yourkeyword</a>

The beauty of that kind of link shortening is that when you hover the mouse over the link, it shows the url as belonging to your site in the browser status bar. To an uninformed visitor, that looks a whole load more trustworthy and safe than a raw aff link or a tinyurl.com link (or in fact any url that looks like it will take them off to another site).
