Hey,
thanks for the great inssight. I was wondering if this was happening with your hubs - about half of the hubs I subit get indexed for several hours and then disappear. Some show up after a few days or after a link an ezine to them. Are you having this problem?

Hey Ben,

Been doing some Hub work myself of late after the Wife's success. Here is what I found.

Link the hell out of them.

I went for some kick ass terms too. So if anyone is having problems getting Hubs to rank then send as many links as you can.

I saw mine jump all over the place after some big backlinks philippines runs and then they were nowhere to be found. But carry on like nothing is wrong and keep sending them links and they come back high and stay there. And all just in a few weeks to a month.

Just don't stop linking.

There are no free lunches anymore, Hubs need links as you say, just like all other properties, but they still have a lot of authority if you treat them right.

Anyway, thought it might help a few folks out.

Where is this new post I heard you were writing. Been a while.

If you've read any of my recent posts, I've stated that hubs no longer bring in instant income. To make money with hubs you need the following:

1. Proper Keyword Research
2. A lot of hubs
3. Backlinks to each hub
4. Age -- 6 months to a year now

Google doesn't seem to give the instant ranking that hubs used to have over a year ago. You used to be able to write a hub and about 2 weeks later it would start pulling in traffic and clicks. Not anymore. If you want to make money with hubpages, you are going to have to put in links to each hub (just like a regular website) and you are going to have to wait months now as many hubs may just end up sandboxed.

Hey Ben,

I have created 100 hubs in 30 days, outsource 30+ and created 60+ on my own...so far the earning after a week is just about $2. Is that normal?

you guys got it all twisted you cant say make a 100 hubs and you'll make 100 dollars a day or something you could be making 200/day with one hub if you did the right keyword research. So what im trying to say is basically it all boils down to your keyword research. Also i think its better just to create your own sites, hubpages at anytime could deindex your hubs they say they wont delete em but you know how that goes

Great advice and I will keep the lower CPC in mind. But to your point, I do have one niche that has a ton of long tails that will be relatively easy to rank for in the 1 - 3 spot.

The pages are not "Seo'd" all that well - and while the search volume is not great - the money will be good (some over five dollars) in the aforementioned 1 - 3 spots.

Definitely a HUB page experiment...

Thanks for replying..
